ReplyDeletecan you explain the answer in question no. 10?
ReplyDeleteYou have asked for the approximate answer which suggests that air resistance is to be ignored. Considering eq. of motion,y=ut-(1/2)gt^2 and putting y=0, we have ut-(1/2)t^2=0 . This gives t=0 and t=2u/g. t= 0 corresponds to starting of motion and t=2u/g corresponds to time of reaching to starting position. Now, u=100m/s and g= 9.8m/s^2~10m/s^2, we have time if flight=200/10=20s.

Deleteq.n.10.
ReplyDeletefinal velocity(V)=0 m/s
initial velocity(U)=100 m/s
now
v=u+at
a=v-u/t
10=(0-100)/t
t=-100/-10
t=10 sec
then,
t=10*2
t=20 sec(since,the object came back to its original point again)
But a is not given . So how u have written a= 10,tell.

ReplyDeleteconvex mirror makes virtual and erect image and
ReplyDeletethe water level decreases because if something is submerged in water, it will displace an amount of water equal to its volume. If something is floating in water, it will displace an amount of water equal to its weight. Therefore, if you have anything more dense than water (stones) floating in a boat and you throw it into the water, the water level will go down because the object displaces less water when submerged.
