About PMAY Yojana:
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched in 2015, by prime minister Narendra Modi with an objective of “Housing for all by 2022”. The basic aim of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is to provide affordable housing to all people, even from the economically weaker sections of India.

PMAY Subsidy Eligibility:
You can register in any of the four schemes in PMAY namely – the In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR), the Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), the Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) Scheme or the Beneficiary-Led individual house Construction/enhancements (BLC) scheme. If you are an applicant and you have applied under any of the four schemes then you can check the status of your application using any of the two methods explained below in the article.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Subsidy Status:
The government will provide loans up to 6 lakhs at cheap rates to the beneficiaries of this scheme. Under PM Awas Yojana, the government provides subsidies up to 2.67 lakhs. The subsidy given by the government depends on the annual income of the citizen. The government has included 3 categories MIG, LIG and EWS under the PMAY scheme.
According to PM Awas Yojana, 6.5% subsidy is provided to EWS i.e. economically weaker section citizens whose income should not be more than 3 lakhs. Apart from this, the citizens of LIG i.e. lower income group, who will be given 6.5% subsidy, their annual income should not exceed 3 to 6 lakhs. And the last category MIG 1 middle-income group citizens will be given a subsidy of 4%, their annual income should be between 6 to 12 lakhs.
Check PM Awas Yojana List Status
To check PM Awas Yojana List Status, you should visit the official website of PMAY at pmaymis.gov.in. Now when you’ll click the ‘citizen assessment’ option on the home page, a menu will pop up with various options. There at last you’ll find the ‘track your assessment status option’. You need to click on it to move ahead in the status check process. From here on, there are two options to check your assessment status as you will be able to see. One is ‘By name, fathers name and mobile number’ and option two is ‘by assessment ID’.
Check PMAY Status by Name and Aadhar Card:
Now if you select ‘By name, father’s name and mobile number’, then you will be required to enter details like your name, father’s name, mobile number, state name, name of your district, name of your city. Other than this, you will have to provide details of ID type (Aadhar, driving license, passport, pan card and others). now once you submit all this information successfully, you will be able to see the status of your PMAY application.
While if you go by the second option, which is of assessment ID, you just simply need to enter your assessment ID and mobile number. As you submit this successfully, your PMAY application status will be displayed.
Check PMAY application status offline:
Other than these, there are a few options to check your PMAY application status offline. You can check it by contacting the National Housing Bank (NHB) or The Housing and Development Corporation (HUDCO) on their respective toll-free numbers which are 1800-11-3377, 1800-11-3388 for NHB and 1800-11-6163 for HUDCO. Or you can also get in touch with your bank to track your PMAY application status. Another thing that you can do is contacting the local officer in charge of the PMAY programme in your municipal authority.
